The Forsyth County Department of Animal Control has teamed up with citizens in our community, animal welfare organizations and law enforcement to fight against illegal animal fighting to make our community a safer place to live.
Citizens who have information of illegal animal fighting are encouraged to call (336) 703-2418. Your confidentiality is assured by assigning callers a code number instead of asking for your name. The code number is then used for all dealings with the caller.
If the information a caller reports leads to an arrest and conviction of persons illegally fighting animals, the caller is eligible for a cash reward (up to $500) from FurEver Friends - a local non profit organization. For more information, visit their website.
A cash reward (up to $5,000) is available from the Humane Society of the United States by visiting their website or by calling the HSUS at (202) 452-1100.
