N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, is now accepting applications for the Extension Master Gardener Volunteer program. Applications are due on July 2.
Have you ever wanted to see goats, rabbits, cows, pigs, chickens and sheep up-close? Wonder what it is like to grow veggies in the city? How about seeing where ginger or mushrooms are grown? Would you like to go on a hay ride or taste fresh goat cheese? On Sunday, June 25 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., you’ll have the opportunity to do these things and get to know your farmer at the Fourth Annual Northern Triad Farm Tour.

Forsyth 4-H'ers set goals, kept records of their work to attain those goals, and submitted it for district and state competition. They earned 19 Gold, 12 Silver and 6 Bronze medals!
