Trellising & Tips for Healthy Tomatoes Workshop, June 5

Do you end up with a ‘tomato jungle’ part way through the season? Come practice trellising and pruning tomatoes to keep foliage and fruits clean and minimize disease. We will also demonstrate trellising techniques for other crops.

The workshop will be held on Tuesday, June 5 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Carver High School Garden (3545 Carver School Rd, Winston-Salem). Please park in the lot between the tennis courts and the Carl Russell Recreation Center (south of the school). Follow the sidewalk downhill to the garden.

Please register at: http://tinyurl.com/Spring2018VegWorkshops or call 336-703-2850. Spanish interpretation will be available. If you need Spanish interpretation, please call 336-705-8823 by June 4 so that we can bring enough headsets. This program is part of the Forsyth Extension Gardener series of free workshops on horticultural topics. For more information, please visit: http://tinyurl.com/FCG-SGS

En este taller, ‘El Enrejado para Tomatoes Saludables,’ habrá interpretación en español.
