Airport Commission

Purpose

The Airport Commission of Forsyth County Board of Directors is composed of five citizens of Forsyth County, all appointed by the Board of Commissioners of Forsyth County.

It is the responsibility of the Airport Commission, using sound business principles, to govern, maintain, operate and develop Smith Reynolds Airport in a manner that the citizens and industry of the region will be adequately and efficiently served by air transportation.

Members

The Airport Commission Board of Directors supervises an Airport Director with a staff of nine full-time employees.

View our TV Broadcast on the Government Channel The Commissioner's meetings, held on Mondays, are broadcast live at 6:00 pm on WSTV 13 - The Government Channel. They are rebroadcast the following Tuesday at 9:00 AM and the following Wednesday at 9:00 pm.

The Commissioner's briefings, held on Thursdays, are broadcast live at 2:00 pm on WSTV 13 - The Government Channel. They are rebroadcast the same day at 6:00 pm.
