Synopsis and Discussion

Sunny skies, warm temperatures, and light winds will result in upper code GREEN/low code YELLOW throughout the Triad, Tuesday. Weak high pressure situated over the eastern seaboard will hold firm through the end of the week. A brief shower or thunderstorm is possible Wednesday afternoon, otherwise, mostly sunny, hot, and stagnant conditions will persist. Both ozone and particle pollution will remain elevated into the MODERATE category Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (GENTRY).

The Forsyth County Office of Environmental Assistance and Protection is making data available from the county's air monitoring network as a public service. These data represent the hourly data set from all of the sites within this network. Data from Triad sites outside of Forsyth County are collected by the North Carolina Division of Air Quality.
