Synopsis and Discussion

Air quality is, once again, code GREEN across the Triad, Wednesday, as the clean air mass remains over the region. A weak cold front will drop through the area later Wednesday leading to a sunny, drier air mass Thursday and Friday. As a result, ozone production will increase leading to low code YELLOW readings each afternoon. A moist, unstable flow will return by Saturday helping to lower the AQI back to code GREEN to start the holiday weekend (GENTRY).
