Synopsis and Discussion

Air quality levels remain in the YELLOW range as winds shifted to the southwest and temperatures reach near the 90 degree mark once again. AQI levels should return to the GREEN range for the weekend as more showers and thunderstorms slide through the region and help wash out pollution from the air mass. The next three days will be very similar but relief is on the way as an new, drier air mass will slide into the region by Tuesday. (Bodenhamer)
