Enjoy these Classic Western movie matinees in the Central Library Auditorium on Tuesday afternoons.

"Red River"
Sept. 17 at 2:30 p.m.

A Texas rancher starts a long cattle drive, heading for Missouri through unsettled land. However, his hired cowhands revolt over his mistreatment of them, and they are led by his trusted younger partner. 1948. Starring John Wayne, Montgomery Clift and Joanne Dru. Directed by Howard Hawks. Oscar nomination for Best Screenplay.
