Teen Chef: Enchiladas and Rice Krispie Treats

Enchiladas originated in Mexico, where the practice of rolling tortillas around other food dates back at least to Mayan times. In their original form as Mexican street food, enchiladas were simply corn tortillas dipped in chili sauce and eaten without fillings. Don't worry we won't stand on the tradition with our enchiladas. The only tradition we'll honor is the tradition of dessert, this month we will also try out a simple recipe for Rice Krispie treats.

Teen Chef is a simple cooking program catered to teens, showing them simple and often no-bake recipes. A signed program waiver is needed to participate, please return before the day of the program to ensure enough supplies.
