Family Morning Movie at the Lewisville Branch

Join us for our Family Morning Movie on Saturday, Nov. 24 at 10 a.m. We'll be showing Incredibles 2, produced by Pixar Animation and Walt Disney Pictures. Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible) is left to care for the kids while Helen (Elastigirl) is out saving the world. (PG)

Daria Peoples-Riley to Discuss "This Is It"

When Daria Peoples-Riley heard her daughter say that she wanted to be a ballerina, she kept thinking about the odds against an African-American young woman in this field of dance. This led her to write and illustrate "This Is It", a book about an aspiring dancer that celebrates self-expression. She will be speaking about her book and participate in a special storytime and dance party at the Central Library and storytime at Reynolda Manor Branch between Nov. 16-17. Free and open to the public.

LHS presents "Hidden Treasures of the Past"

The Lewisville Historical society will be presenting “Hidden Treasures of the Past”, shared by local historian and genealogist, Baxter Cromer. He will discuss the many treasures found during his search of his parent’s home. Light refreshments will be served. The program will be Monday, Nov. 12 at 6 p.m. and located at the Lewisville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
