Supplies for Fines

Posted on 1/6/2014 by Laura Weigand

Supplies for Fines

The Forsyth County Public Library is excited to announce our new Supplies for Fines campaign. In partnership with Forsyth Education Partnership, the Library will sponsor this program in January, allowing customers to pay off any movie fines they may owe the Library while performing a great community service at the same time. Throughout January for every school supply item brought in to a library location, we will forgive a dollar in DVD/VHS fines from your account. Bring in two items and we’ll forgive two dollars and so on. Suggested school supplies include packs of paper or pencils, crayons, composition books, or gently used books for young people. All collected supply items will be donated to the Educator Warehouse where WSFC teachers acquire much needed classroom supplies. For more information, please contact Laura Weigand. or call 703-3047.
