January Movie Showing!!!

The Malloy Jordan East Winston Heritage Center, 1110 7th St., will hold a movie showing of the film Dunkirk. The movie will be shown on January 5, 2018 at 2 p.m.

Dunkirk occurs in May 1940, when Germany advanced into France, trapping Allied troops on the beaches of Dunkirk. Troops were slowly and methodically evacuated from the beach by under air and ground cover from British and French forces. Every serviceable navel and civilian vessel that could be found was utilized. At the end of this heroic mission, 330,000 French, British, Belgian and Dutch soldiers were safely evacuated.
