Free Computer help with the instructor Carol Haskins from Forsyth Training Bridge. The purpose of this program is to help you with any computer task - from how to turn a computer on to using programs like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Learn Email and Facebook. Get better equipped for a job or learn to use your own laptop or cell phone with help of an experienced instructor. Please register.


Music and Movement: Sing and Play Along Ages 1 to 5 Thursdays at Walkertown

Music couldn't be more fun or come more naturally to children than on Thursday mornings at Walkertown. Come sing, dance, shake eggs, and giggle under the parachute together at Music and Movement, free and open to babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and the adults who love them.


Free Painting Class with Craig Richards Monday, March 19 at Walkertown

Award winning artist Craig Richards will share insights concerning gear, paint, techniques and important concepts essential to successful painting. He will share painting demonstrations and coach students to complete paintings unique to their varied interests and styles. Students are responsible for providing their own supplies. February Programs for Youths at Walkertown

Walkertown Branch Library is excited to offer a variety of programs for Kids and Teens in January. Kids (and accompanying parents) can come to Storytime, dance with us at Music and Movement, or read a book to a real dog! Teens can learn the basics of 3D printing and computer programming, become volunteers, or come play games. Choose what interests you!


Matter of Balance: No Cost Balance & Flexibility Program starts Friday, March 2 at Walkertown

Do you have concerns about falling? Are you interested in improving your balance and flexibility? Join us for the evidence-based workshop, A Matter of Balance. This 8 session workshop will be held once a week on Fridays, from March 2nd to April 27th (skipping March 30th for Good Friday) from 10 to noon at the Walkertown Branch Library.
