Tuesday Mornings & Saturday Afternoon Storytimes at Walkertown

Song-&-Rhyme Music Time awaits families with young children from 2 - 2:30 pm on Saturday, September 3rd, followed by regular Tuesday Morning Storytimes resuming at 10:30 am on September 6th. Toddlers and preschoolers will gather to enjoy picture books, songs, rhymes, and related literacy activities. Come join the fun while helping your little ones develop their vocabularies and social skills.

Online Library Resources for Homeschoolers on September 1st at Walkertown

Area homeschooling families are invited to an overview presentation of dozens of databases available online for free to library cardholders. Sixteen tips for using the library online catalog will also be shared. Come Thursday, September 1st, from 12:30 - 1:30 pm. Bring a bag lunch if you wish.

Free Piano Concert: Pamela Howland "Chopin Meets Beatles: Songs of Love, Loss and Longing"

On Friday evening, September 30, acclaimed classical pianist Pamela Howland will perform at the Walkertown Branch Library in a unique piano concert, “Chopin Meets the Beatles: Songs of Love, Loss and Longing.” Her program will consist of Chopin selections paired with Beatles songs that she has arranged in Chopin-inspired style.
