Protect your personal information by bringing documents to be professionally shredded at a free community-wide shred event on Saturday, April 21 from 10 am to 1 pm at Walkertown Branch Library. This event is generously sponsored by LGFCU and is for personal shredding only (no businesses). Please limit your shredding amount to 75 pounds or 3 document boxes.
Join us for a special dedication of the Historical Walkertown Photo Wall at Walkertown Branch Library on Saturday, April 21st from noon to 2 pm. This event is co-sponsored by the Friends of the Walkertown Library and the Walkertown Area Historical Society. In honor of the event, there will be a musical performance by local singer Amelia Patel. Light refreshments will be served.
Join us in observing master craftsman, John Wald, as he uses his hand-made loom to weave rag rugs. Mr. Wald will be demonstrating the twining method to weave his rugs. This method involves twisting two separate pieces of material over and around a third piece that is suspended on a frame to hold it in place. Audience participation is welcomed.
