Naturalization Ceremony Saturday, January 21st at Walkertown Branch Library

Be a witness at an official Naturalization Ceremony of adults from various countries. The event is sponsored by the US Citizenship and Immigration Service. Sing patriotic songs, recite the Pledge of Allegiance and help welcome new citizens. All ages are invited to stand together in honor and celebration for this civic engagement experience. Saturday, January 21st, at 11 am at Walkertown Branch Library.

African American Genealogy at Walkertown Monday, February 13th, 2 pm

Learn about tips and resources for starting African American genealogy research. This free program is presented by North Carolina Room staff and features tips for researching African American genealogy resources online. The program will also cover the different types of resources unique to African American history that are used to find genealogy information. Genealogy Starter Kits and resources list will be available. Monday, February 13th, 2 pm at Walkertown Branch library.
