The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will consider the following volunteer board appointments:

For their meeting on October 27, 2014 with a deadline for receiving resumes and completed questionnaires of October 22, 2014:

  • One (1) Appointment to the PIEDMONT TRIAD AIRPORT AUTHORITY to Fill an Unexpired Term, Expiring April 2017 [Capacity: “ Forsyth County At Large”]

For their meeting on November 24, 2014 with a deadline for receiving resumes and completed questionnaires of November 19, 2014:

  • Two (2) Appointments to the ADULT CARE HOME COMMUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE, One (1) Appointment, One-Year Term, Expiring June 2015 and One (1) Appointment, Three-Year Term, Expiring December 2017 [Capacity: “Open”] [Non-incumbents will serve a term of one year]
  • Two (2) Appointments to the AIRPORT COMMISSION, Three-Year Terms, Expiring December 2017 [Capacity: “Open”]
  • Two (2) Appointments to the CENTERPOINT HUMAN SERVICES BOARD OF TRUSTEES, Three-Year Terms, Expiring December 2017 [Capacity: “At Large”]

  • One (1) Appointment to the FORSYTH COUNTY HOME AND COMMUNITY CARE BLOK GRANT ADVISORY COUNCIL, Two-Year Term, Expiring March 2017 [Capacity: “Service Recipient”]
  • Two (2) Appointments to the FORSYTH COUNTY JUVENILE CRIME PREVENTION COUNCIL, One (1) Appointment, Two-Year Term, Expiring June 2015 [Capacity: “United Way/AEA Representative”] and One (1) Appointment, Two-Year Term, Expiring November 2016 [Capacity: “Juvenile Defense Attorney”]
  • One (1) Appointment to the NURSING HOME COMMUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE, FORSYTH COUNTY, Three-Year Term, Expiring November 2017 [Capacity: “Open”] [Non-incumbents will serve a term of one year]
