Wastewater / Septic Systems
The Wastewater Section of the Division of Environmental Health is comprised of environmental health specialists who are dedicated to protecting the
environment and promoting public health. This is accomplished through a variety of responsibilities, some of which include:
- responding to
complaints
- issuing/denying septic tank system permits
- inspecting septic tank systems and water supply wells
- water sampling
- public swimming
pool inspections
- providing education and consultation to the public
