Lieutenant Charles Barham Retires

Lieutenant Barham began his Law Enforcement career in 1986 as a Deputy Sheriff with the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office. In 1988, he joined the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and was assigned to Patrol. Lieutenant Barham has worked in Field Services, Community Policing, Transportation and Criminal Investigations.

Lieutenant Barham is an original member of the SWAT team. He is also a certified Firearms and General Instructor Lieutenant Barham is veteran, serving 22 years in the U.S. Army National Guard. During his service, Lieutenant Barham was deployed in 1991, serving as a Desert Storm combat soldier.
