Growing Up Wild Workshop

Growing up Wild is an early childhood education program that builds on children’s sense of wonder about nature and invites them to explore wildlife and the work around them. Through a range of activities and experiences, Growing up Wild provides an early foundation for developing positive impressions about the natural world and lifelong social and academic skills.

The workshop will take place at the Tanglewood Clubhouse on Wednesday, July 21st from 9:30 am - 4:30 pm. It will be administered through the NC Wildlife Resources Commission and meets Criteria I requirements of Environmental Education Certification. It can also be used for C.E.U credit with the completion of 4 hours of optional homework. Admission is free, but participants will be asked to pay Tanglewood’s $2 per car entrance fee.

Registration is required. To register or for more information, please email smithpb@forsyth.cc and give your name, phone number and email address.
