The Best “Friend” a Library Could Have

Paul Ragsdale, a volunteer at the Reynolda Manor and Central libraries, has been named the 2010 Friends of NC Public Libraries Volunteer of the Year award. Mr. Ragsdale was recognized at the FONCPL Annual Recognition Luncheon on November 6th at the High Point Public Library.

He was nominated by both the Reynolda Manor and Central Library Friends Groups for his tireless and unmatched service to the used book sales at each branch. If you are a frequent visitor to one of these two branches, you have probably seen Paul many times working one task or another, making the library a better place for everyone to visit. There is no one whose efforts have more directly benefited the Reynolda Manor and Central libraries. Please join us in congratulating Paul on his much deserved award.
