Celebrate Black History Month!

The Forsyth County Public Library celebrates Black History with a focus on the 2011 national theme, “African Americans and the Civil War.”

During the war 179,000 African Americans served in the Union Army with over 39,000 being killed in action.

With this theme in mind, the Clemmons Branch Celebrates Black History by showing the movie based on Stephen Crane’s classic Civil War novel, The Red Badge of Courage.
