Explorer Post 975 Member Recognized for Scholastic and Leadership Accomplishments

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office is proud to recognize Garrett Locklear, Explorer Post Commander, for his scholastic accomplishments and leadership qualities. Garrett is a rising senior at Walkertown High School and is President of the student body, quarterback for the Varsity football team and Captain of the Varsity basketball team.

On May 7th, 2013, Garrett was inducted into the National Honor Society. As part of the induction ceremony the inductees pledged to:

“Maintain high scholastic standing, to hold fundamental and worthy an untarnished character. To endeavor intelligently and courageously to be a leader, and to give of myself freely in service to others.”

Not only is Garrett the Post Commander for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Post, he is also active in the youth group at his church. Garrett is a future leader of our community. He serves his community in a variety of ways and exemplifies the leadership qualities that set him apart from the crowd.

Garrett is an excellent representative in the community for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Explorer Post. We are honored to have him as a member of this office.
