Sergeant Harrison Stokes Retires

After 28 years of law enforcement service to Forsyth County, Sergeant Harrison Stokes retired from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office on August 1st, 2014.

Sergeant Stokes began his law enforcement career in 1986. He joined the FCSO family as a Deputy Sheriff assigned to the Law Enforcement Detention Center. Sergeant Stokes has served in many areas of law enforcement throughout his career to include Courtroom Security, School Resource Officer and Field Services.

Sergeant Stokes has earned many achievements in his career. He was promoted to Corporal in 1999, followed by the promotion to Sergeant in 2002. Sergeant Stokes earned an Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate and B.S. Physical Education prior to joining the FCSO.

Sergeant Stokes’ knowledge and guidance will be missed and we wish him the best in all future endeavors. Congratulations Sergeant Stokes!
