Performance Teams Training Sessions Underway

Earlier this year, the Agency announced that we would be moving forward with implementation of performance teams in the Adult Division and Family and Children’s Services Division. The purpose of performance teams is to help build upon planning conversations already in progress within Divisions, and to add consistency and focus to these progressive discussions and formal planning processes.

Teams are chaired by the Division Director with membership including management, supervisory and direct services staff. A Staff Development consultant works collaboratively with each team to help guide them through the Continuous Performance Improvement (CPI) process. The teams began their “learning experience” sessions in July 2014 with ongoing monthly hands-on experiential learning. The first session focused on team formation and development of Team Operating Agreements. Teams were introduced to the CPI process in the second session on August 28th.

Note: Administration and the Income Support Services Divisions will convene their performance teams later this year or early 2015.
