Floral Wall Art Crafting for Teens & Adults, Walkertown

Imagine an empty space on a wall that could use a boost of art.

Now imagine creating your very own Floral Wall Art using a simple design with satisfying results. Cut, glued, and painted from recycled cardboard, these pieces become surprisingly sophisticated. Choose your desired size and color scheme. Arrange your piece inside a frame or pin it directly onto a wall. In one class, you'll make something fun and learn how to replicate the design on your own.

Guest instructor and mixed-media artist Priscilla Williams will lead this class of eight through the steps to make these economic, environmentally friendly designs. Call soon to register, as there are two free seats left available as of today.

Cardboard petal-or-leaf shapes will be provided, along with small cardboard or plastic circles for optional flower centers. We'll have glue guns to share, or you may bring one. Paint will be provided unless you need your own type or specialty color.

If you want to add a frame, please bring one--just the outside rim--or you may add one later or make an unframed design. Recycled frames are welcome; they may be painted during class. Reminder: Frames will not be provided. See more examples of finished pieces on Pinterest, or google 'recycled cardboard tube wall art.'

Registration is required, as space is limited. Call 336-703-2990.
