Great Backyard Bird Count

You are asked to take at least 15 minutes on as many of the 4 days as you have time for, and write down the birds you see. Tally sheets are available on the GBBC website and also at the library. You don’t have to do all 4 days if that isn’t convenient, but please spend at least 15 minutes on the days you do watch and count. You may watch the birds anywhere: In your backyard, a nearby park or anyplace you happen to be.

When you are done, please go to the Great Backyard Bird Count to record what you have seen. If you need assistance with this part, the Adult Services Librarian can help!

You may do this each day, or at the end of the 4 days. Whatever is convenient.

We thank you very much for participating and you will hear back from GBBC after you enter your counts. Enjoy the birds this weekend!!

***Don't forget to bring your completed bird count sheet to the Kernersville Branch Library for an entry into a prize drawing!***

Also, should you enjoy getting out with other birders, there are several birding clubs in the area:

Forsyth Audubon
Piedmont Bird Club in Greensboro
Carolina Bird Club
