After-Hours Movie: Marshall

Thursday, February 15 at 8:00 pm at the Southside Branch Library (This is a special after-hours screening. Only the auditorium and bathrooms will be accessible. The rest of the library will NOT be open for business!)

To celebrate Black History Month, join us for a free screening of the new film Marshall, starring Chadwick Boseman and directed by Reginald Hudlin. This historical drama depicts the early career of NAACP lawyer Thurgood Marshall (Boseman), destined to become the first African-American Supreme Court justice. In 1940 in racially-charged Connecticut, Marshall defends Joseph Spell (Sterling K. Brown), a black chauffeur accused of raping and trying to kill his white employer (Kate Hudson).

This film is rated PG-13. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
