Fraud and ID info session: 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24 at the Kernersville Branch Library

Join us for this free seminar on Tuesday, April 24 at 2 p.m. at the Kernersville Branch Library. Protect yourself by learning the latest tricks being used for fraud and theft - and protect your identity from being stolen. Learn what to do when your bank or the IRS calls, how to safeguard your social security card, how to recognize email and phone scams and how to recover from identity theft. Light refreshments will be provided. This program is part of Forsyth County Public Library's 2018 Money Smart Week.

This seminar is presented by Glenn Kirk of Summit Credit Union. Glenn is a frequent presenter of seminars for businesses and associations all across North Carolina, including Forsyth County departments and libraries. He has also frequently appeared on WFMY TV as a resource for banking and financial items of interest.
