Sergeant Barry Levette Sales Retires

Sergeant Barry Sales began his Law Enforcement career at the Kernersville Police Department in September 1989. On October 28, 1995 he was hired by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy Sheriff. During his career, Sergeant Sales received 18 letters of commendations. He also earned several promotions with his most recent promotion to the rank of Sergeant on June 3, 2017.

During Sergeant Sales’ career, one of his most notable accomplishments was his participation in gang interdiction. The results were multiple arrests and large drug and money seizures that developed into multiple out-of-state DEA follow up investigations.

Throughout the course of his career, Sergeant Sales served in the Field Services Division, the Judicial Services Division, and the Investigative Services Division. At the time of his retirement, Sergeant Sales was assigned to the Judicial Services Division.
