Black-out Poetry for Tweens and Teens

Show Off Your Poetry Skills
Wednesday, April 24 at 4 p.m.
Clemmons Branch Library
Grades 6th-12th

It’s National Poetry Month at Clemmons Library, but we’re not doing your English teacher’s poetry. Use newspapers and magazines to create your own 5x7 black-out poetry canvases. Not into crafts? Use our magnetic poetry boards to freestyle some verses or show off your performance skills with some spoken poetry. See who knows their stuff when it comes to “Poem or Song Lyric” and who can get the most right.

All supplies will be provided. Open to tweens and teens in 6th-12th grade.
