Self-Awareness from the Inside Out

Join us Saturday, July 13 at 11 a.m. at the Paddison Memorial Library in Kernersville. This program is for individuals and their loved ones who may be experiencing depression, anxiety, addiction, anger, or isolation. Learn effective coping skills using a holistic approach to wellness: mind, body and spirit. We'll also discuss how to get access to free community resources. The program will be led by licensed counselor Monyetta Howell. Joshua Bondy from Insight Human Services will provide free medication lock boxes as well as information and resources about addiction and prevention services. Insight Human Services has offered evidence-based prevention programs since the 1980s. Prevention services collaborates with a number of agencies ranging from law enforcement to community coalitions with the goal of distributing vital messages on topics that include underage drinking, responsible alcohol consumption, tobacco use, and medication safety awareness and education. Light refreshments and door prizes will also be available. To register, call 336-703-2930.
