Screenprinting for Black History Month

The history to vote for African Americans is a long and arduous road that is still being walked to this day. The right to vote is a precious gift that all teens should understand and use when they come of age. In this program, we will delve into the history of African Americans and the right to vote while we create our own screen printed t-shirts to celebrate that right and to encourage everyone to do their part.

Supplies are limited. Teens will need to pre-register, stop by or call 336-703-3080.

Where: Teen Central, second floor of Central Library
Who: Ages 12-18
When: Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
