Synopsis and Discussion

Air quality levels remain in the GREEN range as a cool start to the day has turned into a beautiful afternoon with temperatures in the mid 60s. Warmer air is on its way for Tuesday and Wednesday as a not-so-normal-for-February Bermuda high sets up off the coast and pumps more unseasonably warm air into our region. The upper 70s will be likely for Wednesday as a strong cold front sweeps through the area Wednesday night. Wednesday will also be the first day of the Ozone season as AQI levels reach into the low YELLOW range. The front will usher in much cooler air for later in the week and thus decrease AQI levels back into the GREEN range. (Bodenhamer)
