February is Black History Month. This year's theme is Black Education in America. Join us as we present programs throughout the month that focus on this important theme as well as other programs and activities that celebrate and mark the many accomplishments and contributions of African Americans to society.
Come to a free meditation session at the Kernersville Branch Library. All are welcome, from newbies to seasoned practitioners, to join us on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. for a guided meditation. Teens, celebrate Black History Month a little early by watching Race, a film about Olympian Jesse Owens, on Tuesday, January 24 at 3:30pm at the Kernersville Branch Library.
The Library will once again partner with volunteers from AARP and VITA to offer tax assistance at many locations throughout Forsyth County, including several libraries.
