Tuesdays are all about the arts at the Rural Hall Branch Library! If you are looking to join together with fellow painters, crocheters, knitters, quilters or those who love to sew, then there is a club for you.
You've gained the life experience, would you like to share it? Looking Forward, Living Forward hosts light-hearted but thoughtful discussion circles for those who would like to reflect on their life experiences and share how those experiences have shaped their journeys as they approach retirement and the years beyond. To register, please call (336) 703-2970. Mondays in September/October @ 6:30 pm, Rural Hall Branch Library.
The new Central Library will be formally dedicated with a ribbon-cutting at 11 am on Thursday, August 31st. Following the ribbon cutting, Central will be officially open to the public. We invite you to join us for this historic occasion along with others from the community as we celebrate this new chapter in library service to Forsyth County.
Stefanie Kellum of our Kernersville Branch library takes an interesting look this month at books about books. As always, you can find more great reading ideas on our Readers' page.

When you buy local, you are supporting local farmers and growers and keeping money in our community to be reinvested with businesses and services locally. Also, supporting local foods helps to maintain and preserve farmland, green space and the lovely rural character in our community.
