Summer Reading Programs For Kids and Teens at Walkertown!

A lot of fun events for Kids of all ages are coming to the Walkertown Branch Library this Summer! We promise this Summer will not be boring! Take a Photography workshop, or get involved in planting and tending to the Children's Learning Garden by the library. Watch The Professor Whizzpop Magic Show, or read your favorite book to a therapy dog. Don't miss everyone's favorite Balloon Lady, and read a lot of books too. Kids, bring your parents along to the library!

Old Time Music and Stories from Appalachia

Riley Baugus represents the best of old time American banjo and song. His powerful singing voice and his expert musicianship place him squarely in the current generation of the quality American roots tradition. Come out and hear some old time tunes, songs, and stories. Free music concert “Old Time Music and Stories from Appalachia” will take place on Tuesday, July 18, at 6:30 pm at the Walkertown Branch library.
