Free Piano Concert: Pamela Howland "Chopin Meets Beatles: Songs of Love, Loss and Longing"

On Friday evening, September 30, acclaimed classical pianist Pamela Howland will perform at the Walkertown Branch Library in a unique piano concert, “Chopin Meets the Beatles: Songs of Love, Loss and Longing.” Her program will consist of Chopin selections paired with Beatles songs that she has arranged in Chopin-inspired style.

Barbara Kingsolver's 2007 memoir, Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: a year of food life, follows the author's family's efforts to live on locally and home-grown foods, an endeavor through which they learned lighthearted truths about food production and the connection between health and diet.
