Problem with Library notices sent through Gmail

If you receive notices from the Library about your account using Gmail please be advised that we have been experiencing problems with notices getting through to your Gmail account. A few weeks back Google changed the way email messages are displayed in their customer's accounts. Instead of one general window that displayed everything, Gmail users now have a window that includes tabs for "primary," "social," and "promotions," with Gmail then choosing which tab your incoming emails are placed.
We have just recently become aware that several notices going out to customers with Gmail accounts have been routed to spam or trash folders.
To prevent this from happening, please add Sirsi Login (the name of our notification account) as a contact in your address book. The email associated with this user is firstname.lastname@example.org. For customers using an email provider other than Gmail we would recommend this same step be taken to ensure there is no disruption in receiving important notices about your account.
