Join us for Project CATCH

Join us for Project CATCH at Tanglewood Park, Wednesday, July 23, 2014 from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm at Shelter #3, (Skilpot Lake), 4061 Clemmons Road, Clemmons, NC 27012.

CATCH (Caring for Aquatics Through Conservation Habits) is an environmental education program developed by the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission. Adults working with youth ages 8–15 learn how to present activities on topics such as identification of North Carolina fish species, fish adaptations and biology, habitat requirements, fishing skills, water safety and conservation ethics.

The program is open to all interested adult educators including schoolteachers; park, nature center and camp personnel; and scout leaders.

Participants will receive a copy of the CATCH student workbook and other instructional materials. All participants qualify for CEU and EEC credits.*

Cost: Workshop and all associated materials are free. ($2.00 per car gate fee applies.)

The abovementioned event and organization are not affiliated with Forsyth County in any way. It is a separate and independent organization, which is responsible for and manages its own activities and affairs. This event is a contractual agreement between the organization and Forsyth County.
