Manor House

The Manor House is the former country home of William and Kate Reynolds. With its expansive verandas, large rock fireplace, and cozy library, it is a magical place for your meeting or reception. Trophy Room with Library and Front Veranda

Trophy RoomThe largest of the Manor House rooms, it is the perfect place for a wedding reception or company retreat. Features include a drop-down screen, gas-operated fireplace, and wireless Internet.

Rock Fireplace Room and 20's Room

The Rock Fireplace Room is the sunniest room in the Manor House. With its majestic rock fireplace and views of the front lawn of the Manor House, it is the perfect spot for a midday brunch or an evening meal.

Full Manor House

Comprised of all public spaces on the lower level of the house, consisting of the Trophy Room, Rock Fireplace Room, 20's Room, hallway, library, front and back veranda.

  • 120 black, molded plastic chairs (not for use outside)

Other Notes
  • All rental items must be delivered and picked up on day of event. No rental items may be left overnight.
  • Gated rose garden in the front yard of the Manor House. It is a public attraction, and will not be closed to the public for any private event.
  • Tanglewood is not responsible for any items left after rental period.
  • The Manor House lower level must be rented separately from guest rooms. Rental of guest rooms does not include lower level.
  • Only waxless candles are allowed. No open-flame candles allowed in the Manor House.
  • Dancing and music permitted on the front veranda only
  • There is an additional fee for all tents placed on the grounds or veranda, and fire permits may be required.
  • Tents may require a fire permit, which renter is responsible for obtaining.
  • Must use a caterer from the Tanglewood Preferred Caterers List.
  • There is a $3,500 catering minimum for Saturday rentals.
  • Included chairs and tables are available for event use, but cannot be used on verandas or outdoors.
  • All music must end at 11:00 pm and event must end at 11:00 pm. Events going past 11:00 pm will be charged an additional $250 per hour.
  • No birdseed, confetti, lime, chalk, paints, and no items taped or nailed to walls are allowed. Each instance will result in an additional clean-up fee being charged.
  • Pictures, books, mirrors, and furniture in the Manor House may not be moved.
  • Please be aware that in late September, the lights for Festival of Lights will be in the process of being put up in the front yard of the Manor House. We will not delay putting up the lights for an event.
  • The fireplaces in the Manor House are working gas fireplaces.
  • If alcohol is served, renter must provide Tanglewood with a certificate of Liquor Liability Insurance.

In order to effectively provide service excellence to our customers, the Tanglewood Park's Marketing and Events Office requires appointments to be set up by clients in order to view rental facilities. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in this process. Scheduled appointments will allow us to better serve our customers as it correlates with our professional standards that we strive to provide for citizens, customers, vendors and contractors. Appointments must be scheduled during the following times:

  • Mondays: 8:00 am - 10:00 am
  • Wednesdays: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • Thursdays: 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

General Park Information

  • Tanglewood is open daily from 7:00 am – Sunset (except on Christmas Day).
  • Pets must be under control of their owner and kept on a leash no longer than six feet at all times. All pets must have current inoculations for rabies. Pets must be kept and never left unattended. Pet owners are responsible for their pets using the designated waste area and cleaning up after their pets at the designated area.
  • Golf, Horse Stables, Hiking Trails and Accommodations are available year-around.
  • Gardens are open year-around. Blooming seasons vary.
  • Tennis activities are available from April to November.
  • Water activities can be enjoyed from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
  • Entrance Fee:

    • $2.00 - All others
    Annual passes can be purchased at the Front Gate or Welcome Center for $25.00. Entrance fees & Annual Admission do not include Admission to Special Events.
