Manor House

The Manor House is the former country home of William and Kate Reynolds. With its majestic verandas, large rock fireplace, and cozy library, it is a magical place for your meeting or reception. To complete your package, consider spending the night upstairs in the state rooms of the Bed and Breakfast. Visit the Manor House Bed & Breakfast website for more information. This facility is available for viewing by appointment only. Please call the Events Office at (336) 778-6310 to set up your viewing.

Trophy Room with Library and Front Veranda

The largest of the Manor House rooms, it is the perfect place for a wedding reception or company retreat. Features include a drop down screen, gas operated fireplace and wireless internet. On Saturdays April-December, the trophy room may not be rented separately, a full Manor House reservation is required. Dancing and music are permitted on the front veranda only. The cost for the Trophy Room is $350. Rates are subject to change.

Rock Fireplace Room / 20's Room

The Rock Fireplace Room is the sunniest room in the Manor House. With its majestic rock fireplace and views of the lawn of the Manor House, it is the perfect spot for a midday brunch or an evening meal. On Saturdays April-December, the rock fireplace room may not be rented separately, a full Manor House reservation is required. The 20's room may be used as a social area prior to a dinner in the Rock Fireplace Room or additional seating. The cost for the Rock Fireplace Room is $300. Rates are subject to change.

Full Manor House

This comprises all public spaces on the lower level of the house including the Trophy Room, Rock Fireplace Room, 20's Room with bar, hallway library, front and back verandas. The full Manor House is the best choice to maximize your event. The cost for the Full Manor House is $650. Rates are subject to change.

  • 150-200 for stand-up reception in spring/summer/fall
  • 100-150 for stand-up reception in winter
 

General Park Information

  • Tanglewood is open daily from 7:00 am – Sunset (except on Christmas Day).
  • Golf, Horse Stables, Hiking Trails and Accommodations are available year-around.
  • Gardens are open year-around. Blooming seasons vary.
  • Tennis activities are available from April to November.
  • Water activities can be enjoyed from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
  • Entrance Fee:

    • $2.00 - All others
    Annual passes can be purchased at the Front Gate or Welcome Center for $25.00. Entrance fees & Annual Admission do not include Admission to Special Events.
