Deputy March was dispatched to a threatening suicide call on 01/15/2010. He and additional officers went to the residence and attempted to get someone to come to the door. Deputy March reported being able to see a subject lying on the bathroom floor and not moving. He proceeded to enter the residence and performed life saving techniques until EMS arrived.

Deputy March's actions aided in saving the subject’s life. His knowledge of basic life saving skills contributed to the citizen arriving at the hospital alive.

Deputy March is a newly hired officer. He is proving to be very dedicated to the law enforcement profession, and is thought very highly of by his peers and supervisors. The actions of Deputy March and his dedication to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office and to the public we serve have earned the award for Sworn Staff member of the Month for January.
