Online Pesticide Safety Course

Join Forsyth County Extension Agents for a continuing education class for farmers, landscapers, and other agricultural professionals. Agents April Bowman and Leslie Rose will host an online class, “Pesticide Safety & Updates” on Thursday, December 10 at 9 a.m.

Registration is required for this online class. Please register through our eventbrite page. If you are having trouble with online registration, please call our office at 336-703-2850.

This class will cover the important details involved in planning a pesticide application, as well as an update on common and emerging pest issues in the Piedmont region of NC. The following continuing education credits will be offered: NC pesticide credits:

  • 2 hours of A, B, D, G, H, I, K, L, M, N, O, T, X
  • NC landscape contractor’s credits (you MUST have your camera on during the entire class and answer poll questions) (l

In order to receive credits for this class, participants must fully participate and submit their current license information as instructed by the facilitators. The class will be offered virtually using Zoom videoconferencing. Information on how to join will be sent to all registrants prior to the start of the class.
