Voluntary Agricultural Districts promote the preservation, development and growth of farmlands. Forsyth County Tax Administration maintains the Voluntary Agricultural District Map for Forsyth County to allow a person researching the title of a particular tract of land to identify whether or not the tract is located near a Voluntary Agricultural District. This map not only identifies properties that have been designated as Voluntary Agricultural Districts within Forsyth County, but also identifies properties that are located within a ½ mile radius of a Voluntary Agricultural District.
