The Friends of Central Library Big Book Sale is coming

Thursday, November 3, noon - 3 p.m.: Preview Sale


$25 admission fee paid at the door. Preregistration requested.

Friday, November 4, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Saturday, November 5, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Sunday, November 6, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.




Forsyth County Central Library, 660 West 5th Street, Winston-Salem
The sale will be held in the basement and covered parking lot on 4½ Street side of the Central Library.
Enter the sale area through covered parking lot on the Spring Street side, or use the lobby elevator near the auditorium on Friday and Saturday. Free parking is available at 5th and Spring Sts.
Find tens of thousands of gently used books, CDs, records, DVDs, etc., including donations from private individuals, as well as public and academic library collections. Shelves include lots of academic books, classics and many works of historical interest.
Very large selection of fiction titles and authors. Numerous Spanish and other foreign language items available, as well as a huge Children’s/Teens section.
Big selection of vintage and first edition books along with many large format coffee table, art and photo books at special prices.
Shelves will be restocked each day with new materials.
Books will be available inside and outside in the parking lot.

Sunday Bag Sale: on Sunday, November 6, remaining items will be sold at half price or $5 per bag.
Preview Sale Attendees: $25 entry fee on November 3rd. Pre-registration is appreciated.
