How do I find books, DVDs, Audiobooks, CDs?
You can find items at any Forsyth County Public Library location as well as participating NC Cardinal Member Library. by using our catalog. You can then search by author, title, subject, or other keywords to combine terms or to look for a particular item type (DVD, Books on CD, etc.).
How do I find magazines, newspapers, articles?
The Library subscribes to various print newspapers and magazines, and we keep select archives. (Archive span varies depending on the publication.) Magazines and newspapers can be used in the library or photocopied; some magazines may be checked out. Check our online list of holdings in our catalog. We also subscribe to a number of online databases, which you can use to search for articles by subject. These include Masterfile Elite and Newsbank; you find them on our Online Resource page. Some of these databases can be accessed from home, using your library card number. Call 336.703.2665 if you have questions or problems accessing these databases.

Items may be returned to any location. All items may be renewed in person, at forsyth.nccardinal.org, or by calling (336) 703-2665. Materials are subject to varying renewal limits.
Forsyth County Public Library offers an assortment of free meeting spaces in our facilities. Reservations can be made online after agreeing to our Meeting Room Policy. Online reservations will be confirmed or denied via email within 24 hours or the next business day.
Free wireless Internet access is available in the seating areas of all our Library locations. Free access to the Internet is available at all locations on more our public access computer stations.
Get going on learning a foreign language, building new skills, or taking an interesting class — all online, with some resources offering live help and tutoring.
Public computer workstations are connected to a quality black & white laser printer. The Library provides 5 pages free per day. There is a 15 cent charge for each additional page. Printing is not available for wireless users.

Public Fax Service
The fax machine is low-cost, self-service fax service and uses voice instructions to guide you through the entire fax transaction. Faxes cannot be received on this machine; this is a send-only service. The FAX24 fax machine is located at our Rural Hall Library and Carver School Road Library.
