Fire Training
Non-structural fires that are purposely set to instruct and train fire fighting
personnel are allowed as provided under the Forsyth County Air Quality Technical
Code, Rule 3D .1903.
Businesses or organizations planning to conduct non-structural fire training may
use the Department's Fire Training
Notification Form to request approval. Permitted facilities should fax (727-2777)
or email the completed form to your Case Manager. All other non-structural fire
training questions should call 703-2440 for more information.
Structural Fire Training
Organizations planning the burning of structures for fire training should call this
Department for further information concerning the legal requirements. For more information
