Autumn is my favorite time of the year because of the beautiful fall colors. They say you can’t judge a book by its cover. Well, this month’s reading challenge is to do just that - pick a book to read solely based on its cover. You can choose something because it has your favorite color, a cool picture, or an intriguing design on the cover. Read something just because it catches your eye. It’s impulse reading at its finest. Book Clubs at Rural Hall

We offer two book clubs at Rural Hall, the Rural Hall Book Club is held on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. and the Living Well Book Club is held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 1 p.m. Come join either book club to meet new friends and engage in lively discussion.


Storytimes at Rural Hall

Children and their caregivers are welcome to join us each week for storytimes in the Rural Hall Branch Library Auditorium. Toddler Storytime will be on a temporary hiatus, but Preschool Storytime (3-5 years old) will meet every Thursday from 11-11:45 a.m. and include stories, songs, flannel activities, rhymes, and a coloring activity.
