Tina has had a very smooth transition in Records. She has taken charge and responsibility for her area and encourages team work. Tina works well independently and is self motivated, which brings about positive work flow. Quality assurance checks are completed on a regular basis and she often encourages Records staff to complete their own Quality Assurance and to correct any mistakes. Since Tina has been promoted to Records manager, minimal errors by Records Staff have been noted and errors have been addressed promptly. Tina can be counted on to be fair and consistent with all the staff. Records staff feel that she is fair, consistent, and is able to make decisions.

Tina is also very task oriented and organized, which is a huge help when managing and prioritizing her own tasks as well as for the unit. The Records Unit has been operating with two (2) full time positions short for a long time, not to mention honoring leave requests. Tina comes to work early and will stay late when needed. Tina’s direct supervision has noticed a decrease in workload and they feel she handles daily tasks without constant feedback.

Tina has implemented positive change in her area by delegating tasks specifically to personnel, thus establishing accountability and overall fairness. She has started training within her unit by offering lunchtime webinars. Tina has encouraged everyone to participate in teambuilding, which they did when they cleaned and organized the Records Unit last Friday to include the ceiling tiles and light fixtures.
