Did you know creating native landscape areas in your backyard helps maintain biodiversity, supports native wildlife and pollinators, and controls erosion? Come to the Lewisville Branch Library on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 2 p.m. for Native Landscapes.
The Lewisville Historical Society invites all Moravian history buffs, lovers of Salem Academy and College, and people with a heart for hearing remarkable achievements to its September 9 meeting at 6 p.m. at the Mary Alice Warren Community Center. You will not only learn about the arduous migration in 1766 of 20 Moravians, but also of the 2021 reenactment of this journey. Won't you join us?

Are you a dude who likes to read? Are you a dude who is curious what other dudes are reading? Come to the Lewisville Branch Library’s newest book club: Books for Dudes. The next meeting will be Thursday, April 11 at 6 p.m.
The group reads a mixture of fiction (all genres) and non-fiction, and the books are selected by the group. Men and women take part in a lively discussion about their favorite pastime: READING! The group meets in-person every fourth Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. except in December at the Lewisville Branch Library. The next meeting will be Tuesday, Aug. 27. The Tuesday at Two Book Club meets every first Tuesday of the month at 2 p.m. The books are selected by the members and are a mixture of fiction (all genres) and nonfiction. Coloring has been linked to reducing stress as it calms and refocuses the mind. Join the Color & Coffee Group at the Lewisville Branch Library for some relaxation and socializing while you color. Coffee, coloring sheets, and pencils will be provided by the library. Join us Friday, June 14 and 28 at 10 a.m. for all the fun.
