Sergeant Crawley has been employed with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office since August of 1992, and is currently assigned to the Courtroom Division.

During the month of March, Sergeant Crawley was tasked with the responsibility of overall security and day to day operations of the murder trial involving the death of Sgt. Howard Plouff of the Winston-Salem Police Department. This trial was very emotional for both the victim’s and the defendant’s family. The courtroom was often crowded with prospective jurors and members of the public, along with a large media presence. Due to Sgt. Crawley’s leadership, he and his dedicated staff ensured that this highly emotional, difficult, and potentially explosive case, was completed without any incident.

Congratulations Officer Crawley!
